Moments of reflection — what better way to start a week.

Yesterday was Mother’s Day. My mother never choose me. And that’s okay. I know a God that not only choose me while I was in my mother’s womb, his love surpasses the love of a mother.

Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne?
Though she may forget, I will not forget you!

isaiah 49:15

The next time your remember the place you came from that included no love — I’d encourage you to remember a God who cares. A God who comforts. A God that has your best interests in mind.

I’ve had to learn to get out of God’s way so he can love me. His design for love is more full, more delightful, and includes more certainity and blessing than I can even imagine.
