Introspection — what better way to start a week.

Question: If God said to you, “Trust Me,” could you?

Trust is an illusive word that is overused as far as I am concerned. Which of us holds pure trust in our hearts? Which of us walks this planet without some fear?

Fear has been my friend for as long as I can remember. Betrayal the cousin that hasn’t seemed to leave my side. Trust is a unique quality I’d like to learn.

“Trust me,” I heard the Lord say last night in the late hours when I could not sleep. Trust Him? Why?

Can He remove the words that my family has spoken against me for years? Can He repeal the disbelief that people hold against my accountability to recall? Can He reverse the past and bring judgment today?

I think He can. What’s more, I believe he will.
