Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

A Jewel: There is only one race. God create one human race. The diversity we need to honor — personal differences. Uniquely different God designed each of us. That’s true diversity. Some are quiet. Some bold and loud. Others hold an irrevance for the way things are — and by their uniquie perspective they deliver important change. Those that hold to tradition are also needed. One by one we need to love and honor each other. Look for differences in each other — it is the deepest way we bond.

A Gem: Isaiah 49, “Before I was born the Lord called me; from my mother’s womb he has spoken my name. 2 He made my mouth like a sharpened sword, in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver. 3 He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will display my splendor.” 4 But I said, “I have labored in vain; I have spent my strength for nothing at all. Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand, and my reward is with my God.”

Metaphorical Gunpowder: I don’t have to be perfect. This notion that perfect exists is dumb. I will never be perfect. I can certainly be better than I once was, but I need to relax and “press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” That is God’s job and I’ll leave it with him.

Please comment below by leaving your jewel, a gem or something you keep yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

All love!
