I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

A Jewel: I’m reading through the book of Isaiah right now. It’s a bit of a hard read but I understand fully what Isaiah was saying in his time. He was a “piercing poet, who understood the two-sided nature of God’s character; mercy and judgment, grace and discipline, justice and forgiveness, exile and salvation.” In a commentary it was noted, “It is bad to do hurt, but it is worse to do it with design and deliberation, to do wrong to many, and to involve many in the guilt of doing wrong.” It’s good for us to know this today. God is watching — always has, always will. That brings peace to my heart.

Gem: God’s discipline is so far from the punishment I learned under my biological father. Nothing my earthly father did brought me peace. Everything I learn about God’s discipline silences the noise and brings me into a peaceful union with him. That’s what Godly discipline is all about. It’s not structure or rules — it is RELATIONSHIP with Him.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: To forgive is not to forget. With that being said, I love that my yesterdays are slipping into a grave of forgetfulness as I live out a life that’s full with love, grace, dignity and respect.

Please comment below by leaving your jewel, a gem or something you keep yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

All love!

We write openly about our very traumatic childhoods. Understanding. Understanding. Unquestionable understanding. That's the message God has for you always!
