Jewels, Gems & Gunpowder

I would love to hear from you! Sharing Saturday with you.

Jewel: Grieve for the tragedies you have been through. Cry for the things that were stolen from you. Weep until you have no more tears.

It’s not only okay, its good for us.

Gem: If I want to cry quietly every day for the pain my children suffered in their childhood, I can. It is my story. It is my life. What their father took from them is not an easy restoration. I know the work it takes. I know the courage they have to continue to live, love and fight for what’s right.

I know because my father took my virginity, too.

Metaphorical Gunpowder: Don’t ever stop your tears because they make someone uncomfortable. Don’t ever stop your tears because it may make you look like you are not healed. Let your tears flow like rivers. They are the path to the streams of life.

Leave your jewel, a gem or something you kept yourself free from with metaphorical gunpowder.

Happy Saturday!
